Despite alcohol not being the healthiest thing for you, I’m partial to the motto, ‘everything in moderation.’
That even goes for dietary restrictions. So sometimes I indulge a little, even though I usually try to find a trade off, such as mixing a wee bit of vodka into an otherwise very healthy and antioxidant rich fruit drink. (we previously wrote a post on how to drink alcohol without ruining your Paleo diet, which you can read for some more great tips and pointers.)
Whether you are letting loose after a long week at the office, or just getting in the spirit (no pun intended) at a party with your favorite “mocktail”, there are plenty of healthier cocktail options for Paleo people. While beer is a big no-no, there are still plenty of great cocktails and mocktails to try.
So pull up a chaise longue, get out the tiny umbrellas and try one of these Paleo cocktail recipes to beat the summer heat!
