Paleo Pumpkin Cookie Recipes – With Maple Syrup

1. Pumpkin Pie Cookies Vegan Grain-Free

Pumpkin Pie Cookies from Detoxinista This recipe has the shortest ingredients list in this roundup, and from the photos, it doesn’t seem as though these babies are lacking in any necessary component! They look amazing, and I love how Megan shows the step-by-step process in pictures so we know exactly how it’s supposed to turn out. She also recommends freezing them to make the shelf life last much longer. You could potentially make a giant batch in one go and keep them for the whole season’s holiday parties. 2. Paleo Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

As Michele describes, these cookies are really decadent! Enjoy these treats…just make sure to make a large batch as they might go real fast.

3. Pumpkin Breakfast Cookies – Paleo Friendly

Cookies for breakfast?! Oh yes. These cookies use almond butter as a base and allow for your choice of dried fruit, nuts, seeds, etc. Some recommendations are provided but it’s really up to you.

4. Coconut Flour Pumpkin Cookies Revisited

If your sweet tooth is not as strong, you can leave out the maple syrup and let the rest of the wholesome ingredients sweeten these cookies naturally.

5. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies (Grain-Free and Paleo)

The pumpkin pie spice in the recipe is what gives these cookies that special “Autumn flavor”. There is a link to purchase one and ALSO a recipe to make it from scratch, for those feeling creative.

6. Pumpkin Spiced Cookie Cutter Cookies

These yummy pumpkin cookies don’t have any chocolate chips but are so cute in their pumpkin cookie-cutter shape! Heather unfortunately doesn’t provide a link on where to get these cookie cutters but I’m going to head over to Amazon to see if I can find them myself!

7. Paleo Pumpkin Ice Cream Sandwich Cookies

This recipe is a bit trickier – you have to make them at the same time that they are eaten, but I don’t think you’ll have any problem getting people to gobble these up before the ice cream melts.

8. Paleo Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Finally, a nut-free recipe! These yummy Paleo pumpkin cookies are made with a coconut flour base and delicious Pumpkin spice and chocolate chips.

9. Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bites

These sound delish but I sense a challenge in tracking down the required palm shortening (good thing a link to purchase is provided, as I’d never even heard of the stuff!)

Paleo Pumpkin Cookie Recipes – With Honey

1. Paleo Pumpkin Cranberry Breakfast Cookies

Paleo Pumpkin Cookies from Once a Month Meals To me, “breakfast cookie” sounds a bit like an oxymoron (aren’t cookies a dessert?!) but in this case, these cookies are really quite healthy and hearty with cranberries, pecans and an almond butter base. In this case, it seems like perfect accompaniment to your morning Paleo cuppa joe! (Photo courtesy of Once a Month Meals. Thanks!)

2. Pumpkin Spice Cookies

These frosted cookies sound like the perfect amount of spice flavor with the help of cinnamon, cardamom and allspice!

3. Flourless Pumpkin Cinnamon Raisin Cookies

It’s hard to find cookies that are truly flourless – these don’t even include any Paleo flours such as almond or coconut flour! Could it be because the Kabocha squash works as a flour-y base? You’ll have to try this to find out the secret…

4. Pumpkin Banana Spice Cookies

You’ll be sure to get a great textured cookie in this recipe from the mashed banana and a punch of flavor from the Autumn spices: cinnamon, ground ginger, cloves and nutmeg.

5. Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cake Cookies

Even though this is a list of pumpkin cookies, and this recipe is no exception, I appreciate Paleo blogger George’s tip that you can substitute pumpkin puree with sweet potato or squash as well. I never knew there were so many possibilities!

6. Pumpkin Cake Cookies

Copious amounts of healthy coconut oil are what give the cookies in these photos their beautiful shine. (They also look tasty).

Other Paleo Pumpkin Cookie Recipes

1. Pumpkin Kiss Cookies (Paleo Pumpkin Cookies)

Pumpkin Kiss Cookies from Cavegirl Cuisine Medjool dates work to provide these cookies their natural sweetness, without the need for honey or maple syrup. These babies get a little ‘nest’ in the middle that holds a tiny bay of dark chocolate… if you don’t have a double boiler to heat the dark chocolate, you should melt it in the microwave – but don’t burn it! Ten seconds at a time, stir, ten more seconds, stir… until it’s all melted. (Special thanks to Michelle from Cavegirl Cuisine for permission to reproduce her photo!)

2. Pumpkin Spice Thumbprint Cookies

The big surprise here is the inventive frosting recipe – coconut butter and green apple!

Raw No-Cook Paleo Pumpkin Cookie Recipes

1. Soft Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

These no-cook chocolate chip cookies are spiced with cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and ground cloves. They have the soft aspect coming from the melted chocolate chunks.

2. No-Bake Pumpkin Pecan Cookies

You would think that these moist cookies get baked but after a little cool off in the fridge, they form perfectly without the need for any high heat.
