Easy Flavored Water Recipe [Keto, Paleo, AIP]
It can get a bit boring to drink water all the time on a Paleo diet. So, one of the things I love making is flavored water. This simple recipe (2 versions) is made with lemon or lime and berries.
Easy Flavored Water Recipe
This recipe is perfect if you find it hard to drink just plain water. Flavored waters and sodas like La Croix have become highly popular as they’re sugar-free and don’t contain any coloring or preservatives.
So if you’re looking for a healthy way to drink more water, then give this easy recipe a try – there’s 2 versions below (one with lime and one with lemon).
The best thing is once you put the fruits into the glass you can keep refilling water into that same glass and more flavor will be infused into the new glass of water. (You can also add ice cubes to make the water code or use water that’s been refrigerated.)

Step 1:
Wash the berries and crush them lightly before putting into a glass.
Berries are excellent for making flavored waters.
Step 2:
Lightly squeeze 2-3 thinly sliced lemon or lime slices and drop them into the glass.
The oils from the lemon/lime peel will also help flavor the water.
Optional step:
Add 2-3 ice cubes for a cold drink.
Step 3:
Top with carbonated or still water. Keep refilling your glass with water regularly.
The fruits will keep giving off flavors so you can keep refilling your glass.

It’s important to make sure you’re well hydrated especially when you first start a Paleo diet and start eating fewer carbs than you typically do (this is explained in depth in this article).
