Extra virgin olive oil + fresh lemon juice

This combination is not only easy, but it’s also delicious as it’ll pair with your salad ingredients rather than overpower and drown them.

Just make sure you have a good quality extra virgin olive oil in your kitchen for use in salads.

And if you don’t have fresh lemons in your kitchen, then you can also use apple cider vinegar instead.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, diced
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 g) raisins
  • 2 large handfuls of salad greens
  • 2 Tablespoons crunchy salad topping (see recipe here)
  • 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar)

Instructions

  1. Toss all the ingredients together.
  2. Divide into 2 bowls and serve.
