- 5 apples, peeled and chopped
- 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon pure chocolate powder
- 1 tablespoon nutmeg (omit for AIP)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- Place everything into the slow cooker (crockpot) and cook on a low setting for 8 hours.
- Use an immersion blender to blend everything into a smooth spread (or pour into a blender).
