Ingredients
For the Salad
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (if frozen, defrost in microwave first) (approx. 12–16 chunks)
- 2 cups (1 lb) ham, diced
- Salad greens or romaine lettuce
- 2 Tablespoons (0.6 oz) sliced almonds
For the Dressing:
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) tamari soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) sesame oil (or avocado oil)
- 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) white wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) raw honey
- 1 Tablespoon (15 ml) water (add more to taste to dilute to preference)
Instructions
- Make the dressing by mixing together all the dressing ingredients.
- Toss together or arrange the salad ingredients and drizzle the dressing on top. Serve with extra dressing on the side.
