Description
Deliciously sweet and sticky chicken wings to dazzle your guests on game night.
Ingredients
- 12 chicken wings (with skin on) (1080 g)
- 3.5 oz (98 g) of paleo ketchup or reduced-sugar tomato ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) of gluten-free tamari sauce or coconut aminos
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of honey
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons (6 g) of garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons (3 g) of ginger paste
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 green onions (10 g), sliced to garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 355°F (180°C).
- Spread the chicken wings out on a large roasting tray and season with salt. Bake for 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl whisk together all ingredients except the salt, pepper, and onions.
- After 15 minutes, remove the tray from the oven. Brush the marinade over the wings. Return to the oven for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and increase the temperature to max. Brush again, using up all the marinade, and return the tray to the oven for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Garnish with green onions.
