Pan-Fried Tilapia

  • 2 tilapia filets
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil for frying


  1. Place the coconut oil into a frying pan on medium heat.
  2. Salt the tilapia filets.
  3. Place the filets into the frying pan and let it cook until most of the fish has turned from opaque to white.
  4. Using a large spatula, turn the filets over and let it cook for a few more minutes.
