I picked up one of these Go Raw Energy Bars at the San Francisco airport a few months back. I was feeling a bit peckish, and these raw bars looked perfect.

Flavors of Go Raw Energy Bars

There are currently 5 flavors of Go Raw Energy Bars (I went for the Spirulina one because it’s the only one without flax seeds in them).

Flax seeds aren’t hugely problematic especially since these are sprouted, but there is still the potential concern of oxidized omega-3 fats in them (see this article for more about flax seeds and whether they’re paleo).

Here are the flavors and their ingredients:
Spirulina Energy Bar (Ingredients are: Sprouted Organic Sesame Seeds, Organic Bananas, Organic Coconut (Unsulphured), Organic Dates, Organic Spirulina)

Apricot Bar (Ingredients are: Sprouted Organic Flax Seeds, Organic Apricots, Organic Raisins, Organic Dates, Organic Lime Juice)

How Did Go Raw Energy Bars Taste?

I have to admit, I was slightly worried after I saw how green the bar looked (from the spirulina), but I was hooked after just one bite.

It was slightly chewy, not too sweet, and very satisfying.

Where To Buy Go Raw Energy Bars?

You can get Go Raw Energy Bars from various health stores as well as online at Amazon here.

And if you’re looking for some Paleo cookies that aren’t too sweet, then try the Go Raw Cookies (you can read our review of them here).

Definitely if you have the time for it – it’s a good snack for when you’re in a hurry 🙂
