Review of CoBionic Indulgence Chocolate Collagen

Indulgence Chocolate Collagen

You might have read that CoBionic Indulgence Chocolate Collagen can help with dry and dull skin, brittle hair, weak nails, and aching joints by boosting your body’s collagen as well as other essential nutrients.*

So, does it work? My experience has been hugely positive and in this review, I’ll explain what Indulgence is, why it works, how great it tastes, and how I use it.

What is CoBionic Indulgence?

CoBionic Indulgence Chocolate Collagen is a chocolate-flavored collagen powder (with coconut milk powder already in it), so you can mix it with hot water for a dairy-free hot chocolate or blend with cold water and ice to get a chocolate milkshake.

Indulgence was especially designed to boost your collagen intake without sacrificing taste.* And like I mentioned earlier, boosting your collagen intake could help your skin stay tight and clear and your hair and nails stay strong.

There are a lot of expensive collagen creams out there, so couldn’t we just use those to keep our skin looking youthful and firm?

Not exactly. Collagen molecules are too big to pass through the surface of the skin. So even though all those creams might do a nice job hydrating your skin, applying collagen topically is not an effective way to get all its benefits.

And if you look into the scientific studies, many point to drinking collagen as the most effective way of getting it into your body.

CoBionic is a US-based, woman-owned business and they take quality really seriously! Indulgence is manufactured in Texas, USA, and uses grass-fed collagen and only a total of 7 ultra-pure ingredients.

That’s why Indulgence is gluten-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, paleo and keto friendly – and of course, super delicious! It dissolves easily in any liquid, and you can even bake with it.

Can anyone enjoy Indulgence?

Generally, yes. Indulgence is made of all-natural ingredients, so it’s safe to use for most people. As with any supplement, children, pregnant or nursing women, and people with medical conditions should check things with their physician before starting a new supplement.*

Indulgence is especially great for people who want to take care of their hair, skin, nails, and improve their joint and gut health.

Is Indulgence FDA approved?

Like most supplements, CoBionic Indulgence has not been inspected by the FDA. It is not used to treat any medical conditions, and only drugs used to treat medical conditions would need to be FDA approved.

However, Indulgence is manufactured at a facility that has been certified to meet the highest quality cGMP standards.

Can I use Indulgence as a meal replacement? Is it a protein supplement?

Sorry – Indulgence is not designed as a meal replacement. There is 9 grams of grass-fed collagen protein per scoop, so you can add it into various meals, like shakes, smoothies, granola, or yogurt to enjoy its benefits.

I like drinking shakes, and it’s a simple way for me to add collagen plus protein into my diet.

(If you’re interested in a more traditional protein supplement, they do have one with 19 grams of plant-based protein – Awaken Plant-Based Protein. Again, it’s completely dairy-free!)

What are the benefits of taking Indulgence?

Here’s a few benefits of taking a high quality collagen supplement like CoBionic Indulgence:*

  • Healthier skin – a collagen supplement can boost your skin’s elasticity and hydration, leaving your skin looking firmer and younger [1]
  • Less joint pain – studies have shown collagen can help alleviate joint pain [2]
  • Stronger and fuller hair – collagen can help boost your hair and nail growth [3]
  • Better gut health – Indulgence contains glucomannan, which is a prebiotic fiber that supports your good gut bacteria [4]

When and how should I take Indulgence?

There are so many different ways of using Indulgence, they give you an entire cookbook with your purchase!

The easiest way to enjoy Indulgence is to mix it with hot water to make a delicious hot chocolate. If you prefer a milkshake, just blend Indulgence with some ice and coconut milk.

You can also use it in baking – just replace cocoa powder with Indulgence in your favorite recipes to create desserts that support your skin and hair.

What exactly is in CoBionic Indulgence?

Here are the full list of ingredients in CoBionic Indulgence Chocolate Collagen:

  • Grass-Fed Collagen Bovine Gelatin Hydrolysate
  • Organic Coconut Milk Powder
  • Alkalized Cocoa Powder
  • Silica
  • Pink Himalayan Salt
  • Glucomannan 90% (Konjac Extract)
  • Natural Flavor
  • Monk Fruit Extract

Is Indulgence Sugar-Free?

Yes, the only sweetener used in Indulgence is monk fruit, which is an all-natural, calorie-free sweetener. Most people on Paleo love this sweetener. I don’t find it has any aftertaste, but tastebuds can vary of course!

They also don’t overload Indulgence with the sweetener, so you can still enjoy the chocolate flavor too.

Does Indulgence come in different flavors?

It only comes in chocolate flavor right now. I’m not even a chocolate person, but I still love the flavor!

How much does CoBionic Indulgence Chocolate Collagen cost? Can I get it in my local store?

Indulgence is not in stores, but you can find it on Amazon.com, or from CoBionic’s website.

Each bottle of CoBionic Indulgence lasts around a month for me, and the regular price for each bottle is $59.99, but you can subscribe and get it for just $39.99, which is a great deal.

But I’d recommend stocking up as they can run out of stock for months because they manufacture in small batches.

What Benefits Have I Experienced with CoBionic Indulgence?

Adding Indulgence into my diet has helped me with my skin issues, my hair is growing stronger, and my joints are not aching (if you work at your desk for several hours a day, you know how important that is!)*

It’s not cheap, but it’s way cheaper than all the crazy creams and medical procedures! Plus with the subscription option, it’s less than $2 per serving. You can’t even get a sugary hot chocolate at Starbucks for that price!

But don’t just take it from me – you should also check out all the reviews they have on their site and on amazon.

Conclusion

I can’t stomach any other chocolate protein powders. Ever since I started using Indulgence, I realized how bad the whey protein powders were making me feel.

As a busy working mom of three small kids, I need shakes in my world to keep going and stay healthy.

Although I’ve never been a big chocolate person, CoBionic has changed all of that for me. I’ve lost count on how many bottles we have gone through in our house.

I’ve had to get more recently because with my husband’s body building routine, it is difficult to find quality protein supplements. So guess who’s bottle he takes? MY Indulgence!

The boys also ask for it for their shakes so it looks like I’m going to have to up my shipment next time!
