Ah Halloween – the kickoff of holiday season. This also marks the start of the season of temptations – cold days call for one more cup of hot cocoa or glass of mulled wine, school and office parties will call for the circulation of bite-sized snacks and abundant candy trays!
It’s inevitable that you’ll be eating sweets this time of year, but they don’t have to be processed or full of sugar and preservatives. Try some of these delicious Paleo Halloween candy recipes and be the hit of the neighborhood this year!

1. Peanut-Free Peanut Butter Cups

Ingredients: semi-sweet chocolate, almond butter.
2. Pumpkin Spice Truffles

Ingredients: coconut butter, pumpkin puree, coconut oil, honey, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, salt, dark chocolate.
3. Dark Chocolate Bark with Candied Maple Bacon and Sea Salt

Ingredients: thick cut bacon, pure maple syrup, 90% dark chocolate, 70% dark chocolate, maple syrup, smoked sea salt.

After Reese’s, Snickers are my second biggest guilty pleasure! Thank goodness for this great Paleo-style Snickers recipe that I can make at home. Ingredients: cashews (or macadamia nuts), coconut oil, maple syrup, sea salt, almonds, Medjool dates, maple syrup or honey, vanilla, coconut oil, sea salt, chopped almonds, raw cacao butter, raw cacao powder, coconut palm sugar.
7. Homemade Gummy Worms
Like the Snickers bars, here’s another treat that I’m so excited to try making myself! With grass-fed gelatin and all-natural ingredients, I can finally indulge in some guilt-free gummy worms!
Ingredients: juice, red in color, gelatin, vanilla extract, lemon extract (optional), liquid chlorophyll (or other natural green food coloring) (optional), 100 bendy straws.
8. Raw Caramel Apples
