Deviled eggs are a delish, protein-filled snack as well as a perfect party hors d’oeuvre! Mayonnaise is a classic ingredient mixed in with the egg yolk filling but there are tons of ways to spice up a deviled egg or make a beautiful variety platter! We’ve compiled this list of great deviled eggs recipes that keep it interesting (and Paleo)! Check out our 24 favorite Paleo deviled eggs recipes below!!
Top 3 Paleo Deviled Eggs Recipes
1. Primal Beet Pickled Pink Eggs
I usually don’t appreciate the purple stain that beets leave throughout my mixed salad and other preparations, but in this case, it makes a purple-ringed deviled egg look REALLY cool! It’s like a natural food dye that contrasts great with the yellow filling – a feast for the eyes! Not to mention that these spices (cloves, allspice, cinnamon) sound like a delicious blend to be paired with the other flavors in this yummy deviled egg recipe. 2. Mediterranean Deviled Eggs (Low Carb Recipe)
Melissa gives these deviled eggs a Mediterranean edge with the help of kalamata olives, sundried tomato, capers and basil. I would say, “it’s all Greek to me!” but this flavor combo actually makes perfect sense. (Thanks to Mellissa from I Breathe … I’m Hungry for permission to use her photo!)
3. Bacon Cheddar Deviled Egg’s
I always say everything is better with bacon! Also cheese doesn’t hurt (unless it does – in which case, only eat these Primal-style eggs if you are not strictly Paleo). The Coconut Mama loves all things coconut – as her name might imply – so make sure to check out her coconut oil mayo recipe included here as well! More Great Paleo Deviled Eggs Recipes
1. Kimchi Deviled Eggs
Spicy and fermented kimchi makes an amazing topping for a deviled egg. Bay Area chef Simone offers up a delicious kimchi recipe also, as well as a Paleo-friendly homemade mayonnaise recipe. Making these ingredients yourself is not only a great way to learn, but saves you money on store-bought ingredients too!
2. Bacon Avocado Deviled Eggs
Avocado and bacon are two of my favorite things to eat, and they go great in this inventive deviled egg creation. Make sure to crumble your bacon in small bits as they will add just a yummy and salty spark to your avocado blend.
3. Avocado Deviled Eggs
Another yummy recipe where avocado is the star, this one might just be slightly overshadowed by that intriguing chili infused olive oil! I love infused oils, especially spicy ones. This recipe is another Primal recipe due to the goat cheese – you can always leave it out if you have lactose-intolerance or sensitivity.
4. Deviled Eggs with Truffle Salt
This otherwise simple deviled egg recipe is made special by the use of the impressive truffle salt (the Amazon link is provided in the post).
5. Guacamole Deviled Eggs
Yet another avocado deviled egg recipe, this one sets itself apart from the rest by the addition of several Mexican-style ingredients. Lime zest, cilantro, jalapeño and cumin make these eggs burst with flavor!
6. Deviled Eggs With Bacon and Chives
These deviled eggs are not only yummy, with garlic-infused oil in the mix, but they’re also beautiful because of their colorful toppings: crumbled bacon, chives, olives and red peppers. Perfect for a party!
7. Best Deviled Eggs Ever: Bacon and Balsamic Deviled Eggs
Balsamic vinegar, mustard and bacon make these deviled eggs taste super while a bit of decorating props (carrot cuttings and more bacon) help to create the perfect Easter treat that the kids will love too.
8. Bacon-Cheddar Deviled Eggs
These deviled eggs sound delicious but note that adding cheddar makes them Primal deviled eggs and they would not be suitable for those with lactose-intolerance.
9. Spicy Avocado Deviled Eggs
A delicious combination of avocado, cilantro, lime and cumin lend to a Mexican-leaning deviled egg creation. If you’re strictly Paleo though, you’ll need to hold the yogurt.
10. Avocado Deviled Eggs
Similar to the above recipe using avocado, cilantro and lime, these deviled eggs are lighter on the ingredients and ready in no time.
11. Old Fashioned Deviled Eggs
If you’re looking for a simple and classic deviled egg recipe, look no further. Mustard, mayo and vinegar keep it standard. Opt for homemade mayonnaise (follow the link in the post) so you’re sure to keep it Paleo.
12. Paleo Coconut Curry Deviled Eggs
Don’t be discouraged by the mountain of ingredients… all of those great spices and flavors will blend to create an amazing taste that will leave people guessing how you made it so delicious.
13. Tuna-Stuffed Eggs
These creative and original deviled eggs get a heaping helping of tuna and capers. Yum! Also, the servings here (4 eggs only) are the perfect size for a snack or light meal for two, or for hors d’oeuvres. If you’re serving a big group, adjust accordingly.
14. Fiesta Deviled Eggs
The perfect Mexican dip (in a sliced egg) includes avocado, tomato, cilantro, lime and wait for it – jalapeños!! But feel free to hold them if you or your guests don’t like hot spice.
15. The Devil’s in the Eggs… and the details
This “classic” deviled egg recipe from the folks at She Cooks He Cleans includes mayo, mustard, vinegar, and a nice mix of recommended flavor-popping seasonings for you to mix and match.
