Paleo Honey Ghee Apples Dessert Recipe [AIP, Nut-Free, Dairy-Free]

Paleo Honey Ghee Apples Dessert Recipe – Instructions
Step 1:
Melt the ghee in a saucepan. If you’re on the autoimmune protocol, then use coconut oil instead.
Step 2:
Dice the apples – cut them into small pieces. Add them into the saucepan.
Step 3:
Add the vanilla extra to the saucepan as well.
Step 4:
Squeeze the fresh lime juice into the saucepan.
Step 5:
Add in the honey to the saucepan.
Step: 6
Cook the apples for 10 minutes on a medium heat until the apples soften a little (but aren’t mushy).
Step 7:
Serve on small dishes for a healthy and fruity Paleo dessert.

Ingredients
- 1 apple, peeled and diced
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) ghee (use coconut oil for AIP)
- 1/2 Tablespoon (7 ml) lime juice (optional)
- Drizzle of honey (approx. 1 teaspoon (5 ml) or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract (omit for AIP)
Instructions
- Melt the ghee in a saucepan. Add in the diced apples, lime juice, honey, and vanilla extract.
- Cook for 10 minutes on a medium heat until the apples soften.
