I first tried these delicious chicharrones when I ate at 4505 Meats in San Francisco, CA, and then I started getting them as easy snacks when they started selling them at SFO airport and also in Whole Foods.

Yes – if they don’t contain non-Paleo ingredients (like MSG, preservatives, etc, non-Paleo fats). Check our this article on whether pork rinds are Paleo for more info.
How Does 4505 Meats Chicharrones Taste?
They’re like puffy and super light rice crackers (or Chinese prawn crackers). What’s great about the 4505 Meats Chicharrones is the amazing combination of spices they put on them. However, there is a small amount of sugar in the spices (along with chili and salt).
They’re also fluffier than regular pork rinds, and they claim that’s because these are kettle cooked.
Are 4505 Meats Chicharrones Cooked in Lard?
Yes – they’re cooked in lard!
Where Can You Buy 4505 Meats Chicharrones?
They’re available mostly in stores (like Whole Foods) in the Bay Area, California, right now. But, you can also purchase them from their website here.
