Review of Tanka Bars
Jeremy and I picked up some Tanka Bars at Whole Foods a few days ago, and they were perfect as a snack when we were stuck in a car for an hour.
Tanka bars are sort of like Epic Bars in that they’re a meat protein bar made with real meat (for Tanka bars, they’re made from bison meat), not just protein powder. It’s like soft tender jerky in a bar form with dried fruit and seasoning.
They’re quite delicious and nutritious (and certified gluten-free), and they make such an easy and delicious Paleo snack. Personally, I find the flavoring in Epic bars slightly better, but there’s a lot of personal preference involved.
I suggest you try it for yourself and decide – you can buy Tanka Bars on Amazon.
