Banana bread holds a special place in my heart. Growing up, I had a nanny who would make a big loaf every Friday afternoon, complete with chocolate chips! She would let me lick the bowl and spatula after she was done and of course we’d be nibbling away at the loaf all weekend long.
Now I make my own banana bread and usually include the chocolate chips, as well as crunchy walnuts for an even yummier texture. Of course it’s usually eaten all up within a few hours of cooling down! They are perfect for Josh’s banana bread loaf recipe with cacao nibs and made from a base of almond and coconut flours.
