Our society can be so in our faces with the processed snacks and quick to grab treats that fill up every corner store. The Paleo diet can seem intimidating considering all of the convenience of today’s world. But, it just takes a little bit of time, and you can create a kitchen full of convenient snacks to replicate the world outside – and have it be completely healthy.

These Paleo golden coconut balls are a great example of something that you can easily assemble at home and feed all those desires to have a quick treat for yourself. Utilizing healthy Paleo ingredients you can feel great about eating these while feeling proud that you made them yourself.

An Exquisite Blend of Flavors

Before you even start fixing up these coconut balls, take a moment to look over the ingredients and tell me that your mouth is not watering. The coconut butter binds together the elements that are enjoyable on their own like almonds and honey. But, mixed together this is a treat that screams balance and luxuriousness. Sorry, I just wanted to get you ready for the wonderful snack that you are about to have.

Some Tips on Assembling Your Coconut Balls

These treats are completely simple to make. The only requirement is being able to mix things up thoroughly. Though as I look through the recipe, I notice the one blaring place where errors could occur.

The coconut butter is going to be your glue, and the problem with the ingredient sometimes can be consistency. Often coconut butter can be too hard or too soft for our desired use. In this case, you will want the butter to be workable without being too melted. Room temperature is probably ideal, but don’t be afraid to harden it a bit in the freezer for a few minutes.

Some Additional Ingredients You May Want To Try

As I mentioned, this recipe offers a great balance of flavor. I would recommend trying the coconut balls as described before you begin to experiment. But, I do love to mix things up. So, here are a few Paleo ingredients that would also work well within the recipe:

  • Banana
  • Orange extract
  • Lychee
  • Sesame seeds
  • Pistachio
  • Vanilla extract
